A: They are the same product. MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) and pre-laminated particle board both refer to particle board overlaid with melamine-impregnated decorative paper under heat and pressure.
Q: Is melamine board waterproof?
A: The surface is water-resistant, but the core is wood-based. For humid environments, we recommend moisture-resistant core (green core) with melamine facing.
