Birch plywood is a multi-layer engineered wood product made from birch veneers (rotary-cut/sliced, 0.5–3.6 mm thick) through drying, gluing, cross-laminated assembly, and hot pressing. It is divided into two categories: all-birch (all layers of birch) and birch face/back veneer (the core material can be other hardwoods).
Key Characteristics
High Strength and Stability: Density approximately 0.6–0.75 g/cm³, bending strength >100 MPa, strong nail-holding power; longitudinal and transverse laminated structure inhibits deformation, moisture content 8%–12%, low shrinkage and swelling rate.
Beautiful Texture and Easy to Paint: Light yellow to light brown, fine texture; can be varnished to reveal the grain, stained to imitate precious wood species, suitable for UV/water-based paints and wood veneer.
Moisture-proof and Durable: High-quality boards use WBP phenolic resin, waterproof and weather-resistant, not prone to mold and rot; high surface hardness and wear resistance.
Easy to Process: Smooth cut surface, not prone to edge chipping, suitable for CNC carving, drilling, and bending.
Environmentally Friendly: Can reach E0/ENF level, formaldehyde emission ≤0.05 mg/m³.

- Sizes: 1220×2440mm, 1250×2500mm; extra-large boards can be customized.
- Thickness: 4/6/9/12/15/18/24mm, etc., with the number of layers increasing with thickness (3–12 layers).
- Grades: Furniture grade (sanded surface, defect-free), architectural grade, marine grade (WBP adhesive, waterproof).
