Visa M is a "business personnel" visa.

M signature: The period of validity for handling is generally not more than 90 days, and can be extended for many times. The accumulated time in China is not more than 1 year. Generally speaking, foreigners who enter Shanghai with general business visa M visa (F visa before September 1, 2013) can extend their business visa once for 1-3 months each time. After an extension, if there is no special reason, you need to leave the country and reapply for a visa before you can reapply for the extension.
