What is integrated timber

I. Definition of integrated panel
Integrated lumber is also called non-structural integrated lumber, which is a material made by
integrating and gluing panels and small squares with basically parallel fiber directions in the
direction of length, width and thickness for non-load-bearing purposes. Mainly used for furniture
production, decoration and other non-load-bearing integrated materials

Second, the specifications of the integrated board size
The width size is mainly (width × length)
Commonly used: 1220mm×2440mm
According to customer's demand, the following sizes can be made: 915mm×1830mm, 915mm×2135mm,
1220mm×1830mm, 220mm×2440mm

Thickness: 12mm-18mm
Three, product quality grade
The appearance quality is divided into two grades, superior grade and first grade,
among which superior grade is better than first grade.

IV. Physical and chemical properties
Water content: should be between 8.0 % and 15.0 %.
Impregnation peel: the average peel rate should be less than 10% when finger-joining gluing between
non-structural integrated materials. When using two specimens, each specimen shall meet the above
requirements, and the average peel rate shall be the average of the peel rates of the two specimens;
in the case of one specimen, the peel rate of that specimen shall be the average peel rate.

Surface crack resistance: for non-structural veneer integrated material, there is no crack on the surface
of the specimen.
Formaldehyde emission.

V. Selection method of integrated board
1, look at the board surface: high-quality integrated board, clear wood grain, beautiful texture, natural.
The board surface is flat and smooth, no obvious filler grease phenomenon, no sand injury, pressure injury,
no obvious color difference, no stains.

2, look at the joints between the slats: whether there is degumming, open glue phenomenon,
whether there are cracks too large, insect eyes, sandwich skin, resin channel, decay and other phenomena.

3, look at the thickness: is it full size? Is the thickness of the two ends and the middle consistent?
Sixth, packaging, transportation and storage
Packaging: The integrated timber products are divided into grades, types and specifications, and if necessary,
they are packed with waterproof materials according to the species and usage.

Transportation: During transportation, the product should be protected from rain and moisture,
and prevent from damage and pollution during loading and unloading.

Storage: When storing the products, the integrated wood should be kept in a reasonable gap,
separated by a flat wooden mat, and palletized neatly to prevent the integrated wood from distortion and
deformation, and to prevent moisture, sunlight, fire and deformation.

Seven, integrated board use precautions

In the process of decoration, the integrated board can not be used as structural material, nor can it be used
to make overhanging doors or cabinet doors, nor can it be used to decorate a large area with a length of
more than 2 meters. If you must use a large area, it must be spliced from several small areas of integrated
panels, so as to minimize deformation

The definition of integrated panel is also called non-structural integrated material, which is used for
non-load-bearing purpose, and the panels and small squares with basically parallel fiber direction
in the direction of length, width and thickness.
